labfox is an independent price comparison and directory for lab tests as a self-pay service in Switzerland, compiled from publicly accessible sources — in particular the official analysis list of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) and the published prices and locations of providers. labfox provides no medical services itself, performs no analyses and is neither a laboratory nor a pharmacy nor a medical practice. Use is free of charge.
Any purchase or performance of a lab test takes place exclusively between you and the respective provider. labfox does not broker, takes no orders and processes no payments. Links lead to external providers — their terms and their current prices apply there.
labfox explains lab tests in general terms and reproduces official information, for instance when a test may be covered by health insurance. This is not medical advice and does not replace a medical consultation. Whether a test makes sense for you and what a result means is something to discuss with a doctor.
Every entry cites its source and date. Prices, fees, access conditions and availability are snapshots; the official tariff is calculated according to the stated edition of the analysis list. We accept no warranty for accuracy, completeness or currency. The binding information is always that of the provider itself.
Providers may request the rectification or removal of their entry. Requests to mail@labfox.ch are handled promptly, at the latest within 30 days. See the privacy policy for details.
We strive for high availability but accept no guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damage to the extent permitted by law.
